Schools of Choice
For students residing outside the Western School District, we offer two (2) Schools of Choice application windows. One is held in May and June for enrollment in the following school year. The other is held at the end of the first semester, for enrollment in second semester of the current school year. 2026-2027 Enrollment (Next Year)
Kindergarten Round-Up will be held in April for all incoming Young 5's and Kindergarten students. Dates will be posted soon.
Enrollment for new students entering grades 1 through 12 will take place after our Schools of Choice application window for next year. Dates for this window will be available soon and posted on our Schools of Choice page (link above).
2025-2026 Enrollment (Current Year)
New Students:
To enroll a new student for the 2025-2026 school year, please gather the items listed in the Enrollment Checklist below, and bring them to the building office of the school that correlates with your student's grade. The link for online registration will be given to you upon visiting the building office.
K-5th grade: visit any of our elementary buildings (Bean, Parma or Warner)
6th-8th grade: visit Western Middle School
9th-12th grade: visit Western High School or Western Career Prep High School
*Please note that the Schools of Choice application window for 2nd semester runs from November 28- December 12. Families will be notified of acceptance status following this window and provided next steps for online enrollment.
