District Transportation Policies
Western School District Drop Off Policy
Western Schools Bus Drop-off Policy All students must have prior approval to be dropped off at any bus stop other than their own by means of a pass from the school office. Passes may be obtained by phone or written note from parent or guardian. Any student in grades 1st-12th may be dropped off at their bus stop without adult supervision present. All students under 1st grade (Kindergarten, Young 5’s, or GSRP) must have an adult present when being dropped off or an older family member getting off the bus with them. If contact with an adult cannot be made the student will be taken to the Woodville Enrichment Center to be supervised until the parent picks them up.
Western School District Bus Rules
PLEASE be out at the bus stop before the bus arrives. Then….
1) Observe same conduct as in the classroom.
2) Be courteous, use no profane language.
3) Do not eat or drink on the bus.
4) Help keep the bus clean, don’t litter.
5) Cooperate with the driver.
6) Do not smoke.
7) Do not be destructive.
8) Stay in your seat.
9) Keep head, hands and feet inside the bus.
10) The bus driver is authorized to assign seats.
